Project objectives:

1. Increasing the level of consultation with local administration in Sector Three for a minimum of 25 young people over a period of 4 months regarding prevention strategies related to the consumption of illicit substances among youth.
2. Equipping at least 125 student youth with knowledge and healthy life strategies, as well as active community engagement, for a duration of 4 months.
3. Enhancing the skills for social and political environmental analysis for 15 young people from Sector Three through digital means.
4. Developing specific skills for direct involvement in local decision-making processes for 25 young people from Sector 3.
5. Crafting a local anti-drug intervention policy to prevent, delay the onset, or reduce the consumption of drugs and/or its negative effects among the general school-aged population and youth in vulnerable/at-risk areas

The activities proposed in the project are as follows:

Activity 1 – Conducting a needs analysis at the local community level regarding prevention strategy, reducing the onset and reducing the use of illicit substances among young people.

Activity 2 – Generation for Community: Shaping Local Policies for a Better Future for 40 young people, through which they will develop their skills to actively participate in democratic life and will develop a Public Policy on the update of the national strategy for prevention, reduction and reduction of illicit drug use among young people after completing the Needs Analysis.

Activity 3 – Consultation with local decision-makers for 25 young people, whereby young people will be empowered to represent their interests to local decision-makers and receive an evaluation for the Public Policy they have worked on.

Total number of young people involved in the activities: 175 young people aged 14-20..
